We are excited to announce a new parking guideline designed to improve safety and efficiency during drop-off and pick-up times. We are calling this, "Paws for Parents!" To accommodate our families better, we have designated specific parking stalls along 5th Street for parent drop-off and pick-up. These stalls are marked with paw prints and are located by the elementary ramp on the southeast side and in front of the preschool doors towards the southwest side of the building. By using these designated stalls, you can help ensure the safety of our students and staff while also reducing traffic congestion along 5th Street. What a day for Woodbine Schools! Our Open House was a hit, showcasing our beautiful updated Commons. But the excitement didn't stop there… The annual Woodbine MainStreet back-to-school luncheon brought together our amazing staff, IGNITE team, and community leaders. Pulled pork sandwiches, fantastic sides, and delicious desserts fueled great conversations and new connections. Superintendent Wagner introduced our newest team members, while MainStreet director Deb Sprecker shared exciting community initiatives. School begins August 23rd, 2024. Please note that the first two days of school are 1:30 early outs. The first day of school for Pre-kindergarten students is Sept. 3rd. Also, there will be an open house for all PK-12 grade students and parents on Wednesday, Aug. 21st. We will follow a similar process as last year in encouraging attendance alphabetically. If your last name begins with A-M, please try to attend from 4:00 - 5:00. If your last name begins with N-Z, please try to attend from 5:00-6:00. #GoTigers #woodbinetigerpride
